2025 Toyota Grand Highlander for Sale or Lease in Framingham

2025 Toyota Grand Highlander

The Toyota Grand Highlander, which debuted for the 2024 model year, returns for 2025 with a new entry-level LE trim, expanding the lineup and making this spacious three-row crossover accessible to lower budgets. Building on the winning attributes of the Highlander, the Grand Highlander offers even more interior space, including an adult-friendly third row with nearly 34 inches of legroom (20 percent more than the standard Highlander has).

With seats for up to eight passengers and a maximum cargo capacity approaching 100 cubic feet, the Grand Highlander is well suited for families and anyone else needing a versatile, comfortable vehicle for daily use and extended road trips. For 2025, this midsized crossover maintains its strong exterior styling. Its signature “hammerhead” grille blends seamlessly with the dynamic headlights and chiseled body panels. Toyota also makes the Grand Highlander Hybrid, which we devote a separate page to.

Trims and Powertrains

The four 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander trims are the LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum. A 265-horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is their power source; it’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard on the LE, XLE, and Limited, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional on those grades and standard on the Platinum.

Depending on the trim and drivetrain combination, the Grand Highlander’s fuel economy as estimated by the EPA ranges from 20 to 21 mpg in the city to 26 to 28 mpg on the highway.

Standard Features

The LE makes its debut with features like seating for eight, a power liftgate, tri-zone automatic climate control, LED exterior lighting, and an eight-way power driver's seat. The XLE adds SofTex leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, a ten-way power driver’s seat, and a digital key app. The Limited builds on this with leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more premium features. The Platinum tops the range with a panoramic moonroof, color head-up display, and digital rearview mirror.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

All 2025 Grand Highlander trims have Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 installed. This suite includes a pre-collision system, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams. Additional features like blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking assist vary by trim, with the Platinum offering exclusive traffic jam assist and a surround-view monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is standard across all trims. SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, and Toyota Connected Services provide additional connectivity. The Limited and Platinum upgrades bring an 11-speaker JBL premium audio system for an enhanced listening experience.
