2025 Toyota Tundra for Sale or Lease in Framingham

2025 Toyota Tundra

Thanks to its outstanding build quality and capabilities, the Toyota Tundra has earned the respect of the likes of Ford and Chevy. The Tundra stands up to these domestic strongholds and earns high respect, backed by the reputation of the Toyota brand. For instance, it can pull up to 12,000 pounds and boasts a 437-horsepower (583 lb.-ft. of torque) twin-turbo V6 under its hood.

In changes for model year 2025, Toyota has added the TRD Rally Package, which adds distinctive retro desert-racer exterior styling, all-terrain tires on offroad-specific wheels, Bilstein shocks, a skid plate, an electronically locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and more. The SR5 has been improved with a power driver’s seat, while three trims (Platinum, 1794 Edition, and Capstone) are loaded with massaging first-row seats.

Mechanical Specs and Performance

The 2025 Tundra is Toyota’s full-sized pickup truck, which comes in these seven distinct trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone. There are three bed lengths (5.5-foot, 6.5-foot, and 8.1-foot) to select from, plus two cab choices (Double Cab and CrewMax). The standard i-FORCE powertrain for the base trim, the SR, is a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with an output of 358 hp and 406 lb.-ft. of torque. The SR5, Limited, Platinum, and 1794 Edition upgrade to an advanced version that’s tuned to produce 389 hp and 479 lb.-ft. of torque.

The TRD Pro and Capstone are equipped go hybrid with the i-FORCE MAX powertrain, which adds an electric motor to increase the output to 437 hp and 583 lb.-ft. of torque. Every Tundra uses a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on all but the TRD Pro and Capstone, which come with the four-wheel drivetrain that the remaining trims may add as an option. The Tundra’s towing limit is 12,000 pounds, while payload maxes out at 1,940 pounds.

The Tundra’s fuel economy varies by powertrain. The regular i-FORCE with RWD returns an EPA-determined 18 mpg around town and 23 mpg on the highway, changing to 17 mpg city with 4WD. The hybrid i-FORCE MAX models are somewhat more efficient, returning 20 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway with RWD and 19 mpg city/22 mpg highway with 4WD. With its specialized equipment for driving the dusty trails, the TRD Pro achieves 18 mpg city and 20 mpg highway.

Standard Features by Trim Grade

The SR mixes necessity with a bit of convenience, getting fabric upholstery, automatic LED headlights, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, automatic climate control (one zone), a 4.2-inch digital gauge cluster, a 60/40-split folding rear bench seat with hidden storage, heated power exterior mirrors, and 18-inch wheels. The SR5 moves up to an eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, selectable drive modes, LED fog lights, cargo bed tie-down points (adjustable) in the truck bed, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Limited raises the stakes with heated and ventilated front seats, an additional automatic climate control zone, SofTex upholstery and other interior soft-touch materials, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, a leather-wrapped shifter knob, power-folding/extending exterior mirrors with driver’s side auto-dimming and indicator for blind-spot warning and turns, a power tailgate, a power rear window, and 20-inch wheels. The Platinum moves in on luxury status by adding leather upholstery, heated and ventilated rear seats, massaging (upper and lower) front seats, a panoramic roof, a heated power-tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, a wireless phone charging pad, a digital rearview mirror, rear sunshades, ambient interior lighting, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The 1794 Edition creates a Western theme with wood-grain décor and all-weather floor mats.

The TRD Pro speaks for itself with standard 4WD, an off-road suspension, underbody skid plates, auto-leveling LED headlights, an LED light bar, an electronically controlled locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, downhill assist, and BBS wheels with all-terrain tires. Inside, it catches your attention with trim-specific SofTex-upholstery with technical camo-pattern inserts, along with red accents and aluminum sport pedals. At the top of the lineup, the Capstone earns its prestigious name semi-aniline leather upholstery, a 10-inch head-up display, acoustic-laminated side windows, and 22-inch wheels. This trim’s power-retracting running boards and BedStep for the truck bed simplify access. For all trims, Toyota also offers a range of optional packages to be added at the time of ordering.

Safety Tech

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is found on every ’25 Tundra, adding automatic high beams, dynamic radar cruise control, a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, lane tracing assist, and road sign assist. The Limited and above also get parking sensors with automatic braking, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and trailer merge warning.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The most budget-friendly trims, the SR and SR5, are given an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connection (both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), SiriusXM satellite radio, an audio system with six speakers, and Bluetooth (hands-free phone and audio streaming). The Limited and higher move up to a 14-inch touchscreen; the Platinum and above receive a premium JBL sound system with 12 speakers. A 30-day trial to Wi-Fi Connect is standard, with an extended Drive Connect (cloud-based navigation, advanced voice recognition, and 24-hour access to live support) trial included on certain trims.
