2025 Toyota Sienna
Toyota made waves in 2019 when it introduced the fourth-generation Sienna with available all-wheel drive (AWD), a feature not at all common in the family-oriented minivan class. A year later, Toyota made the Sienna a gas-electric hybrid, adding even more appeal. With three rows and best-in-class fuel economy, the Sienna is a compelling alternative to crossovers and SUVs. For 2025, it gets a refreshed interior, minor styling updates, and some new standard features and options.
For starters, Toyotaās new advanced rear seat reminder makes its debut on every trim level. For even more convenience, a cabin vacuum cleaner and the FridgeBox (a refrigerator integrated into the center console) both come standard on Platinum. New leather color options and woodgrain finish for the center console have also been added to those two topmost trims, while the XSE, Woodland Edition, and XLE have updated patterns and accent stitching integrated into their SofTex upholstery. The latest version of the Toyota Audio Multimedia System with an available 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital gauge cluster on select grades.
The Siennaās exterior also gets several updates, including new wheels on the Platinum and Woodland Edition, updated exterior badges on XSE and Woodland Edition, new trim design on XSE, as well as the addition of a new Magnetic Gray Metallic color for most grades.

Trims and Powertrain
The 2025 Toyota Sienna is available in six trims: LE, XLE, XSE, Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum. Their powertrain consists of a 2.5-liter inline-four cylinder engine coupled with two electric motors for front-wheel drive (FWD) models; a third electric motor is added to the rear axle for AWD models. The Siennaās wheels are driven by an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission with sequential shift mode.
The hybrid powertrain delivers 245 total system horsepower. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard; all-wheel drive (AWD) is an option on all grades except the Woodland Edition, where it is standard. Toyota estimates the Siennaās fuel economy ratings at 36 mpg city/36 mpg highway for FWD versions and 34 mpg city/36 mpg highway with AWD. A properly equipped Sienna is able to tow as much as 3,500 pounds.
Standard Features
The LE seats eight with front bucket seats, a three-person second-row bench and storable center seat, and a 60/40 one-motion-stow split and stow third-row seat for three. It also has dual power sliding side doors, three-zone automatic climate control, fabric upholstery, wireless smartphone charging, remote keyless entry, push-button start, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, heated power outside mirrors with blind-spot warning indicators, wireless charging, 18 cup and bottle holders, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The XLE offers seating for seven or eight depending on the second-row configuration (the bench seat or a pair of captainās chairs). Advanced Driver Aids
All 2025 Siennas come standard with Toyotaās Safety Sense 2.0, the automakerās active safety system consisting of a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, and road sign assist. A blind-spot monitor with rear-cross traffic alert is also found on all grades, while all but the base SE get front and rear parking assist with automatic braking. The Limited and Platinum add a panoramic view monitor with a 360-degree overhead view in low-speed drive and reverse, and curb view.
As mentioned above, every 2025 Sienna has Toyotaās new advanced rear seat reminder, a radar-based system concealed in the headliner thatās capable of detecting movement in the second and third rows once the vehicle is turned off and the doors have been opened and closed. An initial warning from the hazard lights and door-lock chime will be triggered when motion is sensed in the cabin, and the system will escalate subsequent warnings (if the driver has opted into Advanced Rear Seat Remind notifications and has an active Safety Connect Subscription, a text message will be sent to their account). If the system is still active after a text message has been sent, it will generate an automated phone call from Toyota Safety.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The LE comes with an 8-inch touchscreen Toyota Audio Multimedia system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free phone and voice-command, and an audio system with six speakers. The LE Plus package will add two additional speakers, which the XLE gets standard. The XLE and higher upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen; the XLE and XSE are eligible for a JBL sound system with 12 speakers, a subwoofer, and an amplifier; this comes standard on the Limited, Woodland Edition, and Platinum.
