Trims and Mechanical Specs
The ‘26 GR Supra can be enjoyed as the 3.0, 3.0 Premium, or MkV Final Edition, with the 3.0 signifying its standard 3.0-liter twin-scroll, turbocharged V6 engine that generates 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard for all grades, and the transmission is either an 8-speed automatic (8AT) with paddle shifters or a 6-speed intelligent manual transmission (6MT). The 8AT achieves an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, while the 6MT returns 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway. An active rear sport differential and standard Launch Control help to optimize traction and acceleration in a variety of driving conditions.
Every ‘26 GR Supra has a double-joint-type MacPherson front strut suspension and a multi-link independent rear suspension. The Adaptive Variable Sport suspension responds to road conditions and driver inputs in real time, while high-performance Brembo brakes with ventilated rotors provide consistent stopping power. The MkV Final Edition has trim-specific hardware upgrades, including hollow stabilizer bars, chassis under-bracing, and performance dampers with AVS tuning. Its other exclusive optimizations include sport-calibrated electric power steering, larger front brake components, revised suspension bushings, and reinforced rear mounts, all contributing to improved handling stability and cornering control.
Standard and Available Equipment
The ‘26 GR Supra 3.0 has a well-balanced interior that unites performance-focused design with driver-centric amenities, including Alcantara and leather-trimmed sport seats that are heated and power-adjustable. The other standard attributes are carbon-fiber trim, memory settings for the driver’s seat, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with an integrated garage door opener, a digital 8.8-inch gauge cluster, a 1.5A USB port, a 12V power outlet, and a 10.2 cu. ft. luggage area with built-in bag hooks. The exterior boasts dual rear exhaust outlets with brushed stainless-steel tips, high-performance Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tires on 19-inch forged-aluminum wheels finished in frozen gunmetal gray, matte-black heated side mirrors with memory settings and auto-folding capability, remote entry, a Smart Key system, and LED lighting (auto-leveling headlights, daytime running lights, turn signals, and combination taillights). With the 6MT, the 3.0 adds wireless device charging, sport pedals, and a leather-wrapped shift knob.
The 3.0 Premium is outfitted with leather-upholstered sport seats, sport pedals, red-painted brake calipers bearing the GR Supra logo, a full-color head-up display, and an upgraded 2.1A USB port. The MkV Final Edition has a series of design exclusives, beginning with a matte-black Supra emblem, 19-inch matte-black forged-aluminum wheels, carbon-fiber front spats and ducktail rear spoiler, carbon-fiber side mirrors, and two exclusive paint colors: Burnout and Undercover. Inside, this special edition has Alcantara and leather sport seats with GR-embroidered headrests, a red-ringed leather-wrapped shift knob, red seat belts, and a commemorative interior plaque. Buyers of the MkV Final Edition also receive a GR camouflage car cover and storage bag.
Safety Features
The ’26 GR Supra gets some important safety tech in the form of a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Additional safety upgrades vary by both trim and transmission. All three trims are eligible for optional bundles that will equip them with additional safety tech. 8AT versions will get full-speed dynamic radar cruise control, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking sensors with emergency braking. Those with the 6MT will substitute audible alert technology for emergency braking while forgoing the radar cruise control.
Multimedia and Connectivity
The 3.0 has an 8.8-inch display with the Supra Command interface and a 10-speaker, 205-watt Hi-Fi sound system. The 3.0 Premium and MkV Final Edition upgrade to a 12-speaker, 500-watt JBL surround-sound system and an 8.8-inch color touchscreen with voice recognition, navigation, and touchpad rotary control (these upgrades are optional for the 3.0). Every trim gets digital audio, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Toyota Supra Connect, which enables a range of services including real-time traffic updates, remote lock and climate controls, automatic emergency calling, and over-the-air map updates.
