The XLE features proximity keyless entry, heated power-folding side mirrors with turn-signal and blind-spot warning indicators, automatic projector-type bi-LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, variable intermittent windshield wipers, and striking two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior is equally impressive, boasting leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, and a leather-wrapped shift knob. Convenience is enhanced by a wireless phone charger, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, push-button ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, five USB-C ports, and a 60/40-split rear seatback with a folding center armrest and cupholders.
The Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite is standard. It consists of a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane tracing assist, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, road sign assist, and proactive driving assist. The other included safety technologies are a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, rear seat reminder, and safe exit alert.
The XLE’s infotainment system centers around a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, a six-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. Buyers get a 30-day trial of Wi-Fi Connect and a one-year trial of Drive Connect (provides Cloud Navigation with Google Points of Interest, Intelligent Assistant voice recognition, and Destination Assist).
Limited and Nightshade
The Limited takes luxury a step further, adding a panoramic fixed-glass roof with a power sunshade, rain-sensing windshield wipers, driver’s seat position memory, an 11-speaker JBL audio system, and quad LED projector headlights. The safety suite grows with front and rear parking sensors and reverse automatic braking. For added confidence, you can opt for a panoramic view monitor, lane change assist, front cross-traffic alert, and traffic jam assist.
The Nightshade builds on the Limited by incorporating dark badging, black exterior accents, and 21-inch matte-black wheels, for a high-style appearance.
Platinum
The Platinum represents the pinnacle of Toyota Crown luxury, as it’s fully loaded with all of the advanced safety technologies that are optional in the Limited and Nightshade (a panoramic view monitor, lane change assist, front cross-traffic alert, and traffic jam assist). On top of that, it gains Digital Key, a 10-inch head-up display, a hands-free liftgate, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, and distinctive 21-inch alloy wheels with black accents.
