2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid for Sale or Lease in Framingham
2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid
With the Corolla holding its title as the best-selling car in the world for two-plus decades, it stands to reason that Toyota would continue to expand this successful and long-beloved nameplate. That’s the thinking behind the Corolla Cross, which made its American debut for model year 2022, with the hybrid version following a year later. While its fuel-efficient powertrain and budget-friendly pricing are ideal for many drivers, attributes like standard all-wheel drive (AWD) and abundant advanced safety technology are what really attract attention. Toyota has given its smallest crossover a few changes for 2024, adding the Nightshade trim and making wireless smartphone charging standard on the SE and higher grades.

The gas-electric powertrain unites a 2.0-liter four-cylinder internal combustion engine, three electric motors, and an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT), with an output of 196 horsepower. Electronic on-demand AWD comes standard. The EPA has officially estimated the Corolla Cross Hybrid’s fuel economy at 45 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway for all trims.

Advanced Safety Technology
The Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite increases driver confidence on every Corolla Cross Hybrid trim by adding these advanced safety technologies: a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control, proactive driving assist, road sign assist, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, and automatic high beams. A rear seat reminder is standard as well, to keep children and pets from accidentally being left behind. Safe exit assist and a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert are added at the SE level, while the top-of-the-line XSE adds front and rear parking assist while upgrading its backup camera with dynamic gridlines.
Infotainment
The focal point of the Corolla Cross Hybrid’s cabin is an 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen infotainment system. It’s used to manage the standard wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free (for phone calls and audio streaming), and SiriusXM satellite radio. Every trim comes with trial subscriptions to Toyota’s connected services: Drive Connect, Remote Connect, Safety Connect, Service Connect, and Wi-Fi Connect.
