2024 Toyota Venza in Framingam
2024 Toyota Venza
There’s far more to the 2024 Toyota Venza than upscale looks. Underneath that elegant exterior is a
sophisticated powertrain boasting the automaker’s proven hybrid technology and an ever-capable
all-wheel-drive system. The premium features continue inside with a cabin that offers lounge-level
comfort, thanks to generous accommodations for both rows and abundant use of soft-touch
materials.
Of course, the Venza is also about capability. After all, it’s a crossover with the
flexibility to handle daily driving or a long-distance road trip. What also helps this Toyota stand out
is a fuel economy rating of up to 40 mpg: uncommon efficiency in a vehicle of this size.
Trims and Powertrains
Buyers can choose from four trim packages for the 2024 Venza: LE, XLE, Nightshade Edition, and Limited. All-wheel drive controlled by a continuously variable transmission (CVT) is standard. The powerplant pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total output of 219 horsepower. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for all grades of the Venza is 40 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. Its cargo capacity ranges from 28.8 cubic feet behind the back seats to 55.1 cubic feet with the second row folded flat.
Standard Features
The LE grade’s key features are dual-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free power liftgate, an
eight-way power driver's seat, LED exterior lighting with automatic headlights, proximity keyless entry,
push-button start, fabric upholstery, and a leather-wrapped power tilt and telescopic steering column.
This entry-level Venza also gets heated power side mirrors, a 7-inch instrument display, rear privacy
glass, five USB ports (including two in the back row), and 18-inch alloy wheels. The XLE is upgraded
with SofTex upholstery, heated front seats, a driver's memory system, a four-way power front passenger
seat, enhanced proximity keyless entry, LED fog lights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, roof rails, and
19-inch alloy wheels. The Nightshade Edition is equipped like the XLE with the addition of sporty black
exterior treatments and 19-inch black-finished wheels.
The Limited’s equipment list goes beyond
the XLE with heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, perforated Softex-upholstered
seats, a head-up display, a 12.3-inch driver information display, a digital rearview mirror, and
rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Nightshade and XLE can be optioned with a fixed-panel panoramic
glass roof (that includes electrochromic controls and a power sunshade).
Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology
The 2024 Venza has the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ system installed as standard equipment. These advanced driver-assisted technologies include a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and road sign assist. All trims except the LE have front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking. The Limited also gets a surround-view monitor.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Infotainment for the Venza is managed through an 8-inch touchscreen for the LE or a 12.3-inch touchscreen with the higher trims. All trims have Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and access to Cloud Navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Toyota connected services (for emergency help and remote features). A six-speaker audio system is standard on the lower trims, while the Limited gets a nine-speaker JBL system that’s optional for the XLE.
