Are you an environmentalist with a lot of love for our Earth but not a lot of cash to back your innovative, "green" ideas? Toyota is here to help. The Japanese automaker is currently accepting applications for its Together Green Conservation Fellowships and TogetherGreen Innovation Grants. The goal of these donations is to foster conservation leadership within communities across the United States.
2012 Toyota TogetherGreen Fellowship Facts & Requirements:- Candidates for the Fellows program must have at least 6 years of environmental experience.
- Candidates for the Fellowships must have the desire to learn and grow, a passion for conservation, and the concern and ability to reach underrepresented, diverse audience within their communities.
- Fellows recieve a $10k grant for a year-long conservation action project within their communities, as well as special training and support.
2012 Toyota TogetherGreen Innovation Grants Facts & Requirements:- TogetherGreen Grants provide funding for Audubon groups and others to create and support diverse groups within the community through conservation efforts.
- At least forty projects will receive funding with grants ranging from $5,000-$80,000, with the average grant around $25,000.
- Grants will be reviewed by an expert advisory panel.
